Diving

In the sea around Curaçao magnificent coral reefs and a wide variety of fish can be found. More than 500 different varieties of fish live in the Carribean reefs. On the Dutch Antilles you can even see turtles, of which the Green Turtle is the most widespread.

Diving schools and diving centres in Curaçao are united in the Curaçao Diving Operators Association (CDOA).Considering that there are plenty of CDOA-diving schools of high quality, we don't want to compete with them. If you don't have any diving experience, we'd advise you to take a course of four or five days with one of these schools.

If you do have some diving experience, you can rent bottles, flippers, … with us. You can find the best diving areas on detailed maps. You can recognize those areas on the spot by a red rock with a white stripe on it.
We have a few diving equipments at our disposal. You can go diving on your own with your buddy, or, if you wish, I can be your guide. If a large number of diving equipments is required, we can hire them at economical rates.

You don't need to be a great master at diving in order to be able to enjoy the wonderful colours and the beautiful fish. A snorkel and glasses are all a recreational swimmer needs to have a taste of the underwater world.
